The Chopin Festival is held in the Cloister of the Charterhouse each year in summer. This is a series of concerts given by internationally renowned performers. A large number of people that love music and culture attend the festival.
It was created by the Mallorcan composer Joan Maria Thomàs in 1930, years later in 1983, visual artists, painting, ceramics, photographers and sculptors all got involved, to exhibit their selected work, based around the theme of the great Polish artist.
