Valldemossa is approximately 20 kilometres from Palma. You can get there using public transport from the network Mallorcan Transport Consortium. The 210 towards the Port of Sóller leaves from the bus station and stops in Valldemossa. There are taxi stops in the airport and port and you can take one in order to go directly to Valldemossa or link up with any other route. If you travel by car , you can only do so along the Ma-1130 road which is the Valldemossa-Palma road or by taking the C-710 which crosses all of the Serra de Tramuntana and goes from Andratx to Pollensa.
From the airport
If you have travelled to the island by plane, you should take the Palma-Airport Motorway (Ma-19). If you have rented a car, once you reach the city of Palma which is 8 Km away, you should take the ring road towards Andratx. Once on this motorway you will travel for about 4.5 Km and take the exit for Valldemossa. You will find the town on this road, the Ma-1130, after about 20 Km.
From the intermodal station
The regular line is the L210 and buses leave approximately every hour. You can also take this line to return to Palma. If you want to go to Valldemossa from other points of the island, there are three more lines but they DO NOT go through Palma and you need to bear that in mind if you are waiting at the Valldemossa stop in order to return. The three lines are the 451 which departs from the Cala Millor zone, line 452 which leaves from Cala Ratjada and 453 which goes from Cala d’Or. These three lines make a stop in Valldemossa, go to the Port of Sóller and make the same return journey.
From the port
To travel from the port of Palma, you should take a similar route. If travelling by car, you will look for the ring road and from there, the Ma-1130. If coming on public transport, in the port there is a line bus station and you should take one to Plaza de España and from there go to the intermodal bus station.
